When an individual encounters: someone who believes they have the potential to have contentment, peace, and joy - no matter what they are facing; someone who can assist them to learn new coping skills; someone who can supply new information; someone who is not afraid of pain - then perhaps, they can begin to find the answers and directions for their lives.
